ATTITUDE OF RURAL HOUSEHOLDS OF SOUTH WESTERN NIGERIA TOWARDS UTILIZATION OF WATER SANITATION FACILITIES

The study examined the Attitude of rural households south west Nigeria towards utilization water sanitation facilities specifically described socio-economic characteristics household heads; identified various sources supply and their providers; determined attitude respondents to constraints utilization. population comprised all in Ondo Oyo States Southwestern Nigeria. sampling procedure employed was multistage technique select 355 heads comprising a total 167 considered out 278 from selected cells state while 188 314 State for study. data were analyzed with descriptive statistics such as frequency count, percentage, mean standard deviation inferential statistical tools logistic regression analysis model Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis.
 result revealed age 47 years that 45 years. Rain collection major source improved (87.4%) (86.7%). Majority had favourable level is still on moderate level. Regression indicated schooling (t=-3.758***; p=0.000) households’ size (t=-2.089**; p=0.037) significantly related facilities.
